Forbes Presents Dr. Mahtani With A Philanthropy Award



After several years of hard work and dedication towards the Zambian economy and its people, Dr. Mahtani’s philanthropic contributions were finally recognized. These contributions were recognized at an international level by Forbes which is one of the top business magazines across the globe. The Forbes brand is known for its several global lists for entrepreneurs, businesses. Forbes conducted ‘Best of Africa’ awards for African visionaries. The awards are given to visionaries and leading lights in the field of philanthropy. Forbes recognizes and celebrates the current and potential future contributions of these visionaries. This year’s Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards was presented during the FIN philanthropy conference. The FIN philanthropy and leadership conference was held online due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Several businessmen, political leaders, opinion leaders, international investors, and media partners participated in the conference. Dr. Mahtani was invited to this conference as an honorary speaker. Dr. Mahtani was also recognized by Forbes for his contributions to the banking sector of Zambia. Forbes presented Dr. Mahtani with the ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Mahtani thanked God and his team for their support and for standing by him during good times as well as during difficult periods.

Dr. Mahtani is the owner of several top companies in Zambia. Some of these companies are Finsbury Investments and Mahtani Group of Companies. He is also known for his several philanthropic contributions across Zambia. Dr. Mahtani founded the Prison Fellowship Zambia for the welfare of the Zambian inmates. He also created the Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia. All his business and philanthropic contributions are known to have a significant positive impact on the economy and society of the Zambian nation. As a result, he was recognized by Forbes and conferred with the prestigious award.
