Dr. Rajan Mahtani shared his words of wisdom via online social media after becoming one of the esteemed awardees at the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is no doubt one of the most successful yet humble businessman, philanthropist and charity worker in Zambia. As a result, Forbes along with FIN recognised his contributions towards the Zambia nation. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was not only invited to the annual Forbes-FIN philanthropic and leadership roundtable conference as a honorary speaker, he was also chosen as one of the awardees in the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards.
Forbes-FIN roundtable meetings are usually held in New York. However, as the coronavirus pandemic continues, it was necessary to hold a roundtable online this year. The event was attended by people from a variety of disciplines, including international businessmen, opinion leaders, politicians, investors, spiritual leaders and the media. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was one of the keynote speakers at the conference. The highlight of the panel discussion was the Forbes Award for Best of Africa. These awards are given to African leaders and entrepreneurs for their contribution to economic prosperity and the empowerment of Africa and its people. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was awarded the prestigious "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has made significant contributions through his Mahtani group, which covers many areas such as infrastructure, mining, banking, finance, real estate, energy and agriculture. At the same time, he has been recognized for various charitable donations, including the creation of the Zambian Prison Fellowship and the Stephen Malama Award which comes with a scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia.
