Dr. Rajan LekhraJ Mahtani, a noted businessman and philanthropist, was recently rewarded with a corporate award for his years of business and philanthropic contributions. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was awarded with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year award. This award was conferred to him by Forbes business connect, one of the top business magazines across Africa as well as across the globe. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has made immense contributions towards the banking sector of Zambia these contributions were finally recognised at an international level. It can be said that these recognition by an international brand was long due considering the significant achievements as well as social and economic upliftment of the Zambian nation done by Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani. The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards ceremony was a part of the annual event by FIN (Foreign Investment Limited). It was a philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference which was held recently.
Mark Furlong who is the founder and publisher of the Forbes International as well as FAM (Forbes Afrique Media) anchored the event. The event was held online as a result of the ongoing pandemic and members participated in this event from their respective locations. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who was also invited in this FIM event as a honorary speaker, accepted the award gracefully. He thanked almighty god for his support and strength during good times as well as bad times and attributed him for providing significant strength during several trials & tribunals he underwent in his business and personal life. Furthermore, he also thanked his excellent team for taking responsibility of the major projects and activities as well as ensuring their success. Dr. Mahtani said that he will continue his trend of philanthropic and charitable activities.
