Decision From Zambian President Applauded By Dr. Mahtani.



On the event of Africa Day, Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema introduced that he plans to abolish the death penalty. This assertion has been met with a massive positive response. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a stated businessman and philanthropist from Zambia, has additionally supported this announcement. Dr. Mahtani owned Prison Fellowship Zambia is a referred Christian Outreach Program. Prison Fellowship has 3 fundamental missions. The first mission is to convey the teachings of Almighty Jesus Christ to the prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families in Zambia. The 2d assignment is to make sure obvious criminal justice for the inmates, ex-inmates and their families in Zambia. The third main assignment is to make sure that the prisoners aren't devoid of essential human rights and fundamental human dignity. As such, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has stated that his organization Prison Fellowship will provide all prison and regulatory guidance to make sure that this assertion by means of the Zambian President becomes a truth.

There is a developing consensus toward abolishing death penalty throughout the globe as well as across Zambia. The last death penalty execution in Zambia was given within the year 1997 by means of President Frederick Chilruba. Since then, Presidents across Zambia were warding off the death penalty or death warrant by means of the use of mercy prerogatives. As such, the assertion by using the Zambian President is a step in the proper direction. The Zambian Government has collaborated with institutes inclusive of the Parole Board Zambia and Zambian Correctional Facility for strategically free prisoners after their whole transformation and integration into society.
